Rescheduling and Cancellations

We understand that from time-to-time lateness may occur.

If you are going to be late, or should a need to reschedule a lesson arise, please contact your Tutor-UK teacher as soon as possible (preferably no later than 2 hours before your scheduled lesson). If you are going to be late, please send an email or text to your teacher stating what time you can attend the lesson on the same say, or whether you wish to reschedule for another day. Your teacher will then contact you accordingly.

If your teacher does not hear from you regarding when you hope to commence the lesson due to lateness, he/she will wait in the online classroom for 15 minutes. Your lesson will be considered cancelled after 15 minutes. Your teacher will offer two or more available slots when he/she can next teach you. Often, lessons may be rescheduled to begin within the hour.

If your teacher is late, and you do not hear from your tutor before the lesson starts, please wait in your online classroom for up to 15 minutes. You are welcome to offer two or more available slots. Your teacher will then get back to you as soon as possible. Often, lessons may be rescheduled to begin within the hour.

You and your teacher may also decide to reschedule the lesson for a few minutes or a few hours later. In such events, you and your teacher are required to individually email Tutor-UK stating the day and time the lesson has been rescheduled to. You can then re-enter your online classroom at least 15 minutes before the start of your rescheduled lesson.

For cancellations, you may exchange the service you have purchased, for another service. For example, if you cancel a one hour online tutoring service for which you paid €25.00, this cost may be used to contribute towards a coaching session, proofreading or any other service on the Tutor-UK website. We do not offer refunds.

We are here to assist you in the best way possible.

Best wishes,
